History of Pacific JetCorp Ltd

Pacific JetCorp (PJC), a Philippine Corporation, incorporated in 1986 by Ross K. Jackes who currently remains as President of the company.

From 1974 to 1986, Ross Jackes was under the employ of Heli-Orient Singapore, the Cessna Aircraft and Bell Helicopter Regional Distributor for South East Asia, initially as a demonstration pilot then Cessna Division Manager followed by Regional Manager based in Manila. Heli-Orient ceased aviation operations in May 1986 after which PJC was formed and then appointed as the Cessna Authorized Sales Representative (ASR) for the Philippines and Indonesia.

Our Cessna ASR appointment remained in force until the end of 2015 after which Cessna assumed direct marketing efforts. For the Indonesian tenure, PJC sold well over 70 new Cessna aircraft mainly Cessna Caravans however; a number of Citation sales were also recorded.  Our sales record in the Philippines over the same period is well over 60 Cessna aircraft in a mixture of the single-engine piston, Caravan and Citation sales. PJC was responsible for securing the two Cessna 172 Training Fleet Sales to Philippine Airlines.

Outside of our Cessna marketing activities, PJC has sold a significant number of medium and large corporate jets including Hawkers, Gulfstreams, Challengers and Global Express aircraft primarily into the Philippines. We continue to broker both fixed and rotary-wing aircraft throughout South East Asia with particular emphasis on corporate jets and corporate helicopters. Our brokerage activities have included sales of Philippine aircraft into the US market.

On the helicopter side, PJC worked with Eurocopter throughout the 1990s followed by Agusta Westland up to 2013. Between the Philippines and Indonesia, PJC sold more than 50 new and used helicopters.

PJC has the exclusive Philippine representation for the Diamond Aircraft product line and the target market for these unique aircraft has been flight training and special mission platforms. This is an excellent product line for Asia with engines on all models through the Diamond product line running on readily available Jet A-1 fuel unlike competitive aircraft running on the limited availability of Avgas 100LL.
